PLAYING OUR PART IN THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
The symptoms of Coronavirus (COVID-19) may be more severe in people with weakened immune systems, older people and those with long term conditions. We care for people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, so it is important that we take all reasonable steps to protect the wellbeing of those using our services, as well as those working and volunteering for Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.
We are carefully monitoring the changing situation and reviewing the guidelines issued by Public Health England. We are endeavouring to keep our staff and volunteers up to date with the relevant information and would advise everyone to continue to visit the Government website.
Our Senior Management Team are meeting regularly to consider necessary precautionary steps to minimise the risk of infection with Coronavirus (COVID-19) for patients, families, carers, staff and volunteers.

Lymphoedema Clinic
The Lymphoedema Clinic at Lewis-Manning Hospice Care provides treatment and support to people who are dealing with Lymphoedema, which is a condition that causes swelling in the body’s tissues. It can affect any part of the body, but typically occurs in the arms or legs.

Volunteering
At Lewis-Manning Hospice Care volunteering is a fun, rewarding experience where you can make new friends, help people and learn new skills. Without your support we simply couldn’t achieve the level of care we provide to as many people across Poole, the Purbecks and East Dorset. Please come and join us.
