Candles on the Beach
PRE-REGISTRATION FOR CANDLES IS NOW CLOSED. BUT DON’T WORRY! YOU CAN DONATE FOR A CANDLE ON THE NIGHT.
Join us for a spectacular evening this December as we illuminate Swanage beach with candles in memory of our loved ones. You will have the opportunity to write a personal message on your candle at our dedication station, before it is placed on the beach.

WHEN: 5pm-7pm, Saturday 10th December 2022
This is a fantastic opportunity to come together as a stronger community in Swanage, to reflect, celebrate and remember everyone we love and care about.
Environmental statement: All candles will be placed safely on the beach, not in the water, as to not effect plants and wildlife in the area. All candles/lanterns (which are imitation flames) will be collected at the end of the evening by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers to ensure there is no litter. The Candles will also be reused for subsequent years. Filming and photography will be taking place during the evening. If you would not like to be featured please speak to a member of staff.
