Hannah Garrett has joined Lewis-Manning Hospice Care in a brand-new role as Events Fundraiser.
The role was created to support the hospice’s ever increasing and busy diary of events. These include the charity’s annual community events; Candles on the Lake, Candles on the Beach and new for this year Candles on the Green, Christmas Wreath making workshops and Christmas Tree Collection service; plus this year’s inaugural Muddy Dog Dash, various challenge events such as Fire Walk and Wing Walk, and a host of community events that the hospice attends such as; Sand Polo, Roads to Rail Festival, Wareham Carnival and Wimborne Folk Festival.
Hannah, who has a background in the charity sector, having previously worked for Dorset Mind, said, “I’m very excited to be a part of the wonderful Lewis-Manning Hospice Care events and fundraising team. With an extensive range of fundraising events offered to the local community, there’s something for everyone. We’re very much looking forward to our upcoming remembrance events: lighting candles in the Poole, Wimborne and Swanage communities. I’m also looking forward to meeting our incredible supporters in the near future. I’d also love to hear from you if you’d like to get involved and volunteer at any of our upcoming events. Please do get in touch E: firstname.lastname@example.org “
