Hours: 9am to 5pm – Monday to Friday

Are you an excellent clinical administrator, with Clinical IT skills, who wants to develop further? Do you want to make a difference? At Lewis-Manning Hospice Care we pride ourselves in allowing our people the opportunity to ‘take time to care’ and make a difference for the patients that we care for.

Who are we and what do we do?

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is an independent charity that offers holistic care to local people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, and support for their carers. We are now in an exciting new phase of development, taking our services to and nearer to people’s homes. We have moved our new base to the centre of Poole, and are extending services to satellites hubs throughout the locality. Lewis-Manning Hospice Care is the winner of the Poole Business Awards ‘Best Place to Work’.

We are looking for administrator to join our Clinical Team. You will already have experience of working in data administration in a GP, Hospital or similar setting, and have a knowledge of Clinical IT systems that you want to develop further. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the clinical team with incoming and outgoing patient correspondence and transitioning these activities to our clinical system, SystmOne. Coding of information will be important, as well as being able to analyse data for reporting purposes. This role will also involve some administration such as minute taking. We are looking for someone with great interpersonal and communication skills.

We very much look forward to hearing from you and the possibility of you joining our well-respected team. To join the Lewis-Manning Hospice Team you will need to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless you are medically exempt and can provide evidence of your exemption during the interview process.
