Candles in the community

Join us for an evening of remembrance at one of our three Candles in the Community events.

At the heart of each event is a beautiful display of lights, where you can dedicate a candle to a loved one by writing a personal message to be placed within the display.

Our Candles events help raise vital funds for our bereavement counselling services. Last year, our counselling team supported over 500 local people and provided more than 2,200 counselling sessions.

The outdoor illuminated candle display is free to attend, offering a beautiful space for reflection and community. Candles will be available for a donation on the night or you can order in advance here.

Environmental statement: All candles will be placed safely (not directly in the water), as to not effect plants and wildlife in the area. All candles/lanterns (which are imitation flames) will be collected at the end of the evening by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers to ensure there is no litter. The Candles will also be reused for subsequent years.

Filming and photography will be taking place during the evening. If you would not like to be featured please speak to a member of staff.
