Senior Management team

Lewis-Manning Hospice Care has over 70 members of dedicated and enthusiastic staff within the organisation. The Executive team is accountable for the operational management of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care, and is made up of people with unparalleled expertise within each sector of the charity.

Clare Gallie

Chief Executive Officer

Clare has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, but always wanted to be part of an organisation that reflects her values. At 24, she joined Macmillian Cancer Support as Regional Manager. Progressing quickly to become Head of Fundraising at Cancer Research, then Head of UK Fundraising for CLIC Sargent, after 9 years Clare moved onto Directorial roles, before becoming CEO of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care.

 

Nicki Cluley

Director of Fundraising, Marketing and Communications

Nicki is an accomplished marketing communications professional with a wealth of experience in strategic brand development, community engagement and non-profit fundraising. Passionate about making a difference, she leads efforts to build awareness, drive support and strengthen the organisation’s impact across the community.

 

Susan Newcombe

Chief Operating Officer

Susan has board level experience as an Executive and Non-Executive Director in both the private and third sector. She has worked in the third sector specialising in health care, initially for child and adult cancer charities and later in palliative care for hospices. Susan is a qualified PRINCE2® Project Manager and MInstF with the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. 

Laura Adams

Director of Clinical Services

Having qualified some years ago from Birmingham University with a diploma in adult nursing, Laura joined HM Forces as a nursing member of staff.  Leaving the Forces in 2009 she has since worked in multiple jobs across a wide range of positions in both primary and secondary care sectors. As well as working in the NHS she also has experience in the private and charity sectors and latterly worked as a specialist in palliative care for Mountbatten Hospice in Hampshire.
