Here to help

Finding out that you or someone you are close to has a life-limiting illness or has died can have a huge impact on your emotional wellbeing. Talking to someone can help.

At Lewis-Manning Hospice Care our Family Support & Bereavement team are here to offer emotional support to patients and their families. We are here to help you from diagnosis of a life limiting illness, through to end of life, and following a bereavement.

If you are struggling to come to terms with your diagnosis or a family member’s diagnosis, Lewis-Manning is here to provide a listening ear to you all. Our team are here to help family members individually or together and are able to work with all age groups.

When will these sessions take place?

Once contact and an initial assessment has been made, regular sessions will be offered and arranged. This can be at one of our Lewis-Manning sites, in home, or at school or college.
