Here are some of the ways in which your kind gift could help us!

We are not an NHS funded hospice, we receive less than 20% of our funding from the government. Therefore, we rely heavily on the support of our incredible community, volunteers and corporate supporters to help fund our hospice and make it the incredible place it is.
This will pay for a patient’s three course lunch meal, whilst they attend our Day Hospice programme. This could be the only cooked meal not straight from a packet that our patients have in a week!
This will pay for the much needed art materials that we use in our Creative Arts & Wellbeing Group. Our patients often make and create small gifts for their family and keepsakes for the future.
Provides a morning’s care for a patient at Day Hospice. During this time our palliative care nurses welcome patients to our hospice, discuss any concerns, address clinical needs, help with physiotherapy, bereavement support, future planning and loneliness issues. Our patients also build confidence by chatting to other Day Hospice patients and take part in art activities that create memories and gifts for loved ones.
Would allow our specialist respiratory clinician to run our Better Breathing Clinic for a whole day. Helping patients with respiratory illnesses like COPD and lung cancer to learn how to manage and cope with their illness.
Helps people who have had cancer and need treatments and support in managing their Lymphoedema for a whole week, including nursing staff and supplies
Supports a month of Day care Hospice for local people who have been diagnosed with a life-limiting condition allowing us to offer clinical, practical and emotional care together with social support. This huge gift includes the costs of our nursing and clinical staff, food, supplies and access to important physiotherapy support.
